In June LCS joined SelectNY and their client Wella for a shoot in Berlin. The production was managed by J&I Production and it was a pleasure to be part of a great team.

In May LCS was asked to work on an image film for major German construction firm Ludwig Freytag. The 11 day shoot took him to various large scale construction sites across northern Germany as a cameraman. The material is currently being put together by the people at simplecore, who also produced the effort. The shoot was demanding, but it proved a great learning experience. LCS will never quite look at construction sites with the same eyes.

A repeated collaboration with loved saw LCS produce his third film for insurance broker Martens & Prahl in May. At an event with 400 employees and partners LCS investigated the firms commitment with the future and brought that collective vision to life in a personal and sympathetic film.

LCS is still working closely with the Bonacure team at Schwarzkopf, overseeing the adaptation and dissemination of the Schwarzkopf Bonacure relaunch film 2014, which LCS shot in 2013. Watch the original film on the Bonacure website. So far, 30 adapted versions of the film have been produced for European, North American, Russian, Middle Eastern and Asian markets.

Brigitte is the client of ad agency thjnk, with whom LCS worked on a casefilm for the women’s magazine in February. After an inspirational shoot in a traditional punching shop, the film was edited and finalised at LCS’ studio in the ‚Hoheluft Factory’. Watch it here. Thanks to CFS Krug for setting up the project.

Also in February, LCS shot a new film for Clynol at the Schwarzkopf Academy in Hamburg. LCS is currently editing, but you can watch the moodfilm LCS had been working on for the same client over christmas here.

These past months LCS returned to the operating room at Asklepios Klinik Altona for more filmic documentation of neurosurgery with Prof. Uwe Kehler for Aesculap and Christoph Miethke GmbH.

These past months LCS has been working on different projects for Schwarzkopf Bonacure, 3D Men and Clynol, putting together an array of films that will be seen on here as soon as they get a release.

The project for Philharmoniker Hamburg LCS was involved in with Draft FCB took the grand prix in the category illustrations at the Red Dot Award. Congratulations!

LCS just finished a film for IKEA. Grimm Gallun Holtappels is the agency that came up with the idea for the film, which you can check out here. Thanks to Christian for granting us personal insight into an interior designers world and to CFS Krug for making the production smooth and easy.

For the Schwarzkopf Bonacure relaunch campaign 2014 LCS was able to shoot some amazing footage at Briese Studio in Hamburg in August. This was mainly due to the fact that Schwarzkopf granted an exclusive set in a separate studio, while next door the photo shooting was going on. Thus LCS had more time to operate and create. With models and stylists flying in from New York, London, Helsinki, Stockholm and Sao Paolo the atmosphere on set was magical. Thanks to the SKP BC crew and the girls from Roba who coordinated this organizational masterpiece.

With a final event in Berlin at the Gangs of Berlin Gallery, the project with Ogilvy Berlin and their client Sternburg came to a close at the end of August. LCS is currently editing the material that documents the different art-events in Leipzig, Dresden and Berlin. Stay put for more news.

Aesculap invited LCS to film a neurosurgical intervention by Prof. Uwe Kehler at Asklepios Klinik Altona in late August. Brain surgery at 8:00 in the morning was an unusual way to start the day. But an exceptional learning experience.

In the past few weeks, LCS has been writing and developing TV-campaigns for commercial directors and production companies, such as tempomedia, Embassy of Dreams and who’s mcqueen.

LCS joined upgrade advertising and photographer Jörg Brüggemann on a sunny trip to Lisbon in late May for an agil and refreshingly improvised production for Pierre Cardin. The filmed material is currently getting put together and the outcome will be LCS‘ first fashionfilm.

In early May LCS started filming a nice little project with Ogilvy Berlin and their client Sternburg. First stop was a shoot at the Museum der Bildenden Künste in Leipzig, with more cities and exciting events to come. Stay tuned!
